Recreation Projects

This single-story community amenity building is designed as a durable, light-filled pavilion within a recreational setting. A simple gabled form and restrained material palette establish a clear civic presence at a human scale. Generous glazing connects interior gathering spaces to outdoor amenities, supporting flexibility, transparency, and everyday use through calm, context-driven architecture. 

In designing the new Boroughs Family Branch of the Greater Worcester YMCA, the use of structural  expression and visual access between the different program elements were the drivers underlying the  design solutions that were developed.  The full service facility included a natatorium, a wellness center,  a childcare center, multi-purpose rooms and executive offices.
